Ghost Knifefish — Marble

The Marble Ghost Knifefish is a truly mesmerising species with an otherworldly, ribbon-like body and a unique way of moving — propelling itself forwards and backwards with a rippling fin along its underside. Its marbled black and white patterning makes it a stunning centrepiece fish that will draw eyes in any large aquarium.

• Temperament: Peaceful but predatory toward very small fish

• Diet: Carnivore — bloodworms, prawns, sinking pellets

• Lighting: Prefers dim lighting; nocturnal

Ghost Knifefish are shy and nocturnal, appreciating caves and hiding spots during the day. Best kept with similarly sized, peaceful tankmates. A spectacular and unique fish for the dedicated aquarist.
