Albino Melanochromis auratus
The Albino Melanochromis auratus is a striking colour variant of one of Lake Malawi's most iconic cichlids. Where the standard auratus displays bold black and yellow banding, the albino form presents a beautiful pale gold and white colouration with pink eyes — a truly eye-catching fish that stands out in any African cichlid display.

- Temperament: Aggressive; males are highly territorial — best kept with robust mbuna tankmates

- Hardness: Hard water preferred
Best kept with other mbuna cichlids in a heavily decorated tank with plenty of rockwork to break lines of sight and reduce aggression. A bold and beautiful fish for the experienced cichlid keeper.
